Latest album The Circle was released last November in the United States.The Circle World Tour is an upcoming worldwide concert tour by American rock band Bon Jovi. It will consist of 135 concerts in 30 countries, the longest Bon Jovi tour since the Jersey Syndicate Tour in the late 1980s. Only a few dates have been announced so far but Jon Bon Jovi has confirmed the band will play in Australia, Germany and Scotland in 2011. Bon Jovi are an American rock band from Sayreville, New Jersey. Formed in 1983, Bon Jovi consists of lead singer and namesake Jon Bon Jovi. The band have become known for writing several rock anthems, and achieved widespread recognition with their third album Slippery When Wet.

Since his band played their first gig on a Charlottesville, VA rooftop in 1991, Matthews has used his growing popularity to the benefit of people throughout the world, quickly becoming one of the most philanthropic bands in the modern music. Though music has throughout history been a catalyst of social activism, the fire that raged so hard in the 1970’s dulled to a small flame in the decades that followed. In recent times, the fire is being rekindled by Matthews and his cohorts – such as U2’s Bono and Willie Nelson. They have for many years encouraged fans to do something to help others, simply by attending their shows.
